Value Grade Gasket Materials, for example, cover the full range of performance and price requirements for approximately 90% of all-existing soft-gasket applications. The ten gasket materials that comprise the Value Grade line of high performance products offer ISI’s fabricator partners and end-users business advantages in terms of superior performance, reduced lead times, 100 percent availability and custom testing for specific applications. Selecting a gasket for an application involves consideration of literally hundreds of factors. It is essentially the task of describing the bolted joint in the technical terms for which there are gasket material performance test properties available. In this way, gasket material performance capabilities can be compared to the requirements of the joint, and different gasket materials can be compared to each other to determine the best fit to the application. The gasket material and thickness are specified simultaneously.

Interface Solutions has developed a set of computer programs that are used to calculate all of the necessary parameters of the joint and, that compare these characteristics to performance properties of gasket materials. Value Grade Materials:

The Value Grade line of sealing products, like all Interface Solutions' materials, are 100% Asbestos-free and 100% Solvent-free. This unique line offers a choice of ten materials that meet 90% of the most common soft gasket sealing challenges faced by ISI’s fabricator partners and end-users. These materials come with built-in pricing advantages, assured availability, fast delivery and custom application testing. This product family includes six(6) roll goods and four(4) sheet goods.

Encore™ Combined (Metal Reinforced) Gasket Materials:

EnCore Combined Gasket Materials incorporate perforated or expanded metal, either as a core or facing. These products are intended for high temperature and/or dynamically stressed applications in automotive, heavy duty diesel, marine, small engine, industrial and in high performance racing applications.

Standard Roll Goods:

This broad line of more than 35 materials includes general purpose grades, a series of cylinder head facing materials for combining on metal core, niche market products such as transmission valve body gaskets, hermetic compressor valve plate gaskets, exhaust gaskets, an aftermarket grade formulated from recycled gasket materials, and much more.

Standard Sheet Goods:

The Standard Sheet Goods line consists of several high quality, 100% Solvent-free, Hydro-Fused® gasket sheet materials. These materials are generally specified for heavy duty and industrial sealing applications that require thick, homogenous materials such as 1.5 to 3.2mm gauges, for applications where the gasket fabricator prefers sheet goods over rolls for yield improvement, or for gaskets that better fit into these larger sheet sizes versus our standard 40" (1.016 meter) wide roll goods.

ISI’s Product Standards data sheet provides useful information on sizes, selected thickness tolerances, lead times and other product specifications for roll-form and sheet gasket materials. Information includes minimum orders and charges for coatings and special preparations, such as slitting, splicing and trademarking.

Interface Solutions offers a wide selection of standard products in both sheet and roll form but we also are capable of producing product forms that meet special requirements.
