During his distinguished 40-year career, Franklin L. Fox has helped establish Armstrong World Industries and Interface Solutions Inc. as industry leaders in product development, technical achievement and marketing innovation. After advancing through positions such as unit manger and general manager in Armstrong’s Building Products and Industry Products businesses, Mr. Fox was named general manager of Worldwide Gasket and Specialty Papers Operations in 1992. In 1996, Mr. Fox was named president of Armstrong Industrial Specialties Inc., the company that industry knows today as Interface Solutions Inc., the creator of Select-a-Seal rubber-edge composite sealing technology. Mr. Fox holds a bachelor’s of science degree in chemical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a master’s of science in physics from Franklin and Marshall University.
