The Matrix Board product is used by the flexographic printing industry in the molding of rubber relief printing plates. Matrix Board is composed of resin-saturated fibers, fillers, and phenolic compounds which can be molded under various pressures, making it ideal for use with photopolymer materials as well as magnesium or other engravings. Matrix is soft and bulky, yet retains excellent stability. Its stamina under repeated moldings greatly reduces the cost of remaking molds. This material exhibits superior fidelity, producing a true replica of the original.
K-500 product is used by the securities and currency printers around the world. Commonly referred to in the industry as “rigging board”, “engravers board”, or “backing board” K-500 offers an exceptional smoothness and consistency of caliper and density.
