Select-a-Seal® is the first brand of a new sealing product category called Rubber-Edged Composite (REC).

1. Rubber Edge Seal - The rubber elastomer edge forms an impermeable compression seal. Some SAS elastomers adhere to the flange with as much force as cured RTV.

2. Compressible Base - materials are "energized" by bolt loading. Over time, some of this stored energy is transferred to the rubber edge, adding to its compression seal.
